Vin PueblosNot new to fitness, but wouldn’t put myself in the athletic category, I’ve tried everything from the home & work gym, a couple of Crossfit boxes, yoga studios, and Average Joes to the Globo Gyms. Finally found my niche between heavy lifting at a typical gym, and doing my cardio outdoors. But recently, I needed that extra ooomph to push me harder than I was pushing myself. Now if you’ve ever been to a Crossfit gym, you know how hardcore that workout is. And not all Crossfit gyms are created equally. I wanted to try something different and maybe something that wouldn’t burn me out so much that I couldn’t continue the heavy lifting I was still doing. Enter Training Day Fitness Inc.I liked the class structure. Kept me on a good schedule. And the classes were never ever too big. Another plus. The workouts were a great mixture of strength, core, cardio and lots of movement. Something I was lacking in my own workouts. The results were amazing within the first couple of months. I completely blasted through y heavy weight plateaus. I was more energetic. I moved faster. Just all around healthier. And there was never a point where I felt that I was overdoing it to dangerous levels. The workouts were so adjustable that no matter where you were in your fitness and what your goals were, everyone could workout together. And because it’s a small gym, it feels like a family where everyone supports and encourages each other in their fitness journey.Price-wise, it may seem expensive when comparing to just a normal gym membership. But you have to keep in mind that every session is a personal training session. So when you break it down, the savings over a personal trainer at your Globo-Gym is great. And trust me on this one, having known personal trainers personally (haha) and seeing the training sessions at the gyms, I’d pass on those.
Being that TDF INC. also trains some of the best young athletes from local schools, it’s a great place for an average joe like me to have access to the kind of training that varsity athletes get.
